Fun with Jackie - Spring Bag

front

back

Hello all! I spent the day with my good friend Jackie (Scrapping Latina) and she had an awesome idea for creating Spring Bags for a Blog Hop that she was involved in. I had sooo much fun brainstorming and creating with her... and if you know her.. she's pretty much got everything and anything you may want to use for ANY project! Ha haa! I wanted to post this when we created them, but Jackie told me not to until she posted it... do you know how hard that was??? Ha haa!!

Products used:
Medium sized gift bags - White
Spring paper packs (including the sayings/stickers/small flower in front corner)
Crochet lace
1 pink paper flower (on back side)
Letter stickers (FRIEND)
Multi-colored large circle brads, 1 pink small circle brad, along with 2 cute lil' character brads (bunny/chick)
-I actually fastened the lace with the circle brads instead of using glue or tape
Stickles.. to add that sparkle.. gotta have my sparkle!!
Tim Holtz distressing ink - not sure the color, but some kind of linen color (distressed all edges, including the bag.

Had a blast.. hope you enjoy!
Visit Scrapping Latina's blog @ http://scrappinglatina.blogspot.com/
to view her bag for the blog hop and her give-aways... I think my bag is a bonus for the winner!
Until my next project... *Y*

Hello to my new followers!!

My First Mini Album!!!!

Hi!!! So I finally completed and gave my friend Jackie her Xmas gift...
Which just so happens to be my very first mini album - using toilet paper rolls. She gave me the idea. Nice to re-use items that just get thrown out (or recycled) anyway. Good way to be "Green"!

Products:
Toilet paper rolls - painted silver
Xmas craft paper, same as the cardstock I used for all my 2010 Xmas cards.
These are cut into 2.15x3.5 then glued onto the rolls.
Corner is hole punched and I just used wire ribbon from Michaels because I didn't have a binder clip. Then I tied multiple ribbons in bows for "fluff". :)
I cut ribbon approx 2" for the pull tabs and taped them in between the papers that went inside the roll slots.
All the stickers are from Michaels, love them!

Well, Hope you like it... Enjoy!!!

P.S. Jackie totally loved it... See her video on YouTube @

Completed!

Hi all! Wow, so I finally finished my 2nd set of wedding invitations!!! They came out great! I swear, quality paper makes a difference!

I will post pics later, the bride-to-be just mailed them out, so I don't want to post them yet. Ha haa!
I finally completed my first mini album too. It's supposed to be a gift for a friend, who I was going to see tomorrow (3/8) but she had to cancel on me... :(
So I can't post those pics either! Grrr...

As soon as I can, I will post them!

Gotta finish my other co-workers Thank You notes! Next on my list to complete!

See ya'll!!! *Y*

Hummingbird Card

Hello all! I've been super busy lately and haven't had a chance to be "Creative".. ha haa

So, here is a card that I created w/in approx 15mins. It was for a friend who's mother had past, so the sentiment I wrote was:

"May this little hummingbird carry on the love and memories of your loved one, and may every flower that blooms be a smile from her".

Some corrections to the video...
The photo mats are from Creative Memories: Romance collection (I said hummingbird series).
Also, the ribbon looks more blue in the video but it was a light purple matching the hummingbird.

Enjoy!! *Y*
